I am probably on my computer and laptop an average of 8 hours a day, in my office, traveling, on WIFI on planes, hotel room, sometimes when I am driving (which is certainly not safe), having coffee at Starbucks on WIFI.

And just when I thought I had survived all my children’s efforts to keep me humble, my grand son recently pulled up my shirt, laughed out loud, pinched my protruding belly button, and screamed, “look at Pa’s belly button. It is sooooooooo funny!!”

Alexa

16

United States

1)Eight years. I saw A Knight's tale then, and I had the biggest crush on Heath, I was in love with him. I had this toy phone I used to pretend to call him on.

2)His smile. Also, that he really puts a lot of himself into his roles. Even the dark ones. We all have a dark side, we just don't want to share it because we are afraid of what people might think. Heath was real, and beautiful, and warm, and bright, and at sometimes, dark. That's why I loved him.

3)I've seen 13 of his movies, and his tv show Roar. I really want to see two hands as well, but I have to order it.

4)I found out coming home from tennis, my dad told me Heath Ledger died. I don't remember any of my immediate thoughts, bc I don't think I had any. I couldn't say "Heath Ledger died." in my head. There's part of me that still can't.

5)I don't really remember. I think I saw it on the internet.

6)Yes. I didn't want it to come out so soon though, because I didn't want it to be the last time I would see Heath.

7)First of all, it had an awesome lesson. Second, it was really eerie. They were talking about how when people die, they are never really gone, and Heath was dead yet he was on the screen right in front of me. Also, everything fit together, almost too perfectly, the parts with Tony. It was just a great job all together.

8)Yes, like I said, it's hard sometimes to think of Heath as gone, but with this movie it instilled some hope, that maybe he's not really gone. We can always watch him, and watch interviews where it really is him. Like Johnny Depp's Tony said, "Nothing is permanent. Not even death." Heath was such a bright light, he could never be extinguished. He'll be immortal in his movies, and our hearts forever.

P.S. I just want to say that, for a while whenever 11:11 came around, I wished that Matilda would remember Heath, because she was very young when he died. I just want to say, maybe if we all wish for that once in a while, it could come true.

I just came upon the video Stand by Me and omg I was just blown away. Grandpa and the rest of the musicians just blew me away. I live in Texas, am a big blues fan and someday hope to meet Grandpa. His music has touched me like no other.
I don't know if you need anymore responses but I will respond anyway. (:

Sex: F

Age: 17

Country: USA

I found out about this questionnaire via: IMDB

1) How long have you been a fan of Heath Ledger?
Since 2005, right before Brokeback Mountain was released.

2) What aspects of Ledger’s screen persona do you enjoy?
I like how he was very confidant on screen where in real life he seemed shy and unsure of himself.

3) How many of Ledger’s films have you seen?
Most of them. There are 2 or 3 I have put off watching, I like that there is still movies he is in that I have yet to see. I have not seen any of the series he was in (Sweat,Roar) though I would like to.

4) Do you recall how you heard the news of Heath Ledger’s death? Can you recall any of your immediate thoughts?
My sister, knowing that I loved Heath, text messaged me. I told her I didn't believe her and she told me to turn on my tv, sure enough he had died and everyone was speculating and putting in their two cents. I remember being furious at the media for all their guesses and leaping to conclusions. I remember they were speculating on the amount of prescription drugs he had in his apartment. I felt it was completely disrespectful to him and to his loved ones. I was completely heart broken. I cried and was depressed. I remember feeling stupid because I didn't even actually know this person, yet I was mourning him.

5) How did you first find out about The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?
I believe I saw it on IMDB before he passed away.

6) Did you look forward to the film?
Yes and No. I looked forward to his performance but I didn't look forward to knowing it would be the last movie he was in.

7) What did you think of the film when you saw it?
I thought it was good, but I was a bit confused. I loved that Depp, Law, and Farrell stepped in to complete the role of Tony.

8 ) What did you think of Ledger’s performance in the film?
Wonderful, as always. He completely embodied the character of Tony.

9) Do you consider The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus to be an appropriate final film for Heath Ledger? Why?
I don't think I would have been fully satisfied with any film that happened to be his "last film". However I did like the movie, and I liked what he added to it.

Feel free to email me if you have any other questions. emilyjeanius@gmail.com

Looks like they had fun making it... and it must have taken ages, doing all the stop-go animation to move the cars a millimetre at a time.

I remember Nick Parks (of "Wallace and Gromit') doing a short animation about an animator explaining his job - 'Now I'll move the hand with the cheese just a little bit... now I'll move it just a little bit more...' etc etc. It's probably on Youtube somewhere...

On the subject of Sunday drivers, locally there was an incident a couple of weeks ago when an elderly driver tried to parallel park in front of a pharmacy and managed to ram-raid the place instead by mistake. Such is life...

Sex: Male

Age:30

Country:Australia

I found out about this questionnaire via: IMDB

1) How long have you been a fan of Heath Ledger?

Since 1996, watching "Sweat"

2) What aspects of Ledger’s screen persona do you enjoy?

His charm, he just has that "X" factor about him

3) How many of Ledger’s films have you seen?

14....

4) Do you recall how you heard the news of Heath Ledger’s death? Can you recall any of your immediate thoughts?

I still remember every detail. Somone sent me a SMS in the morning to tell me and I got up to watch the news. I was very shocked, and awfully sad during the day, cried a few times. Just couldnt believe he was so young and what a waste of talent

5) How did you first find out about The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?

I heard about it on TV and on IMDB

6) Did you look forward to the film?

Absoultely! Couldnt wait to see his final piece of work, it was very emotional watching it, knowing he wouldnt be in anymore movies.

7) What did you think of the film when you saw it?

I thought it was a bit boring in the beginning, not a huge Terry Gilliam fan, but it picked up and I really enjoyed it by the end.

8 ) What did you think of Ledger’s performance in the film?

He did a great job as always, it was defintely a role suited to him, so quirky and not a part the average actor would consider.

9) Do you consider The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus to be an appropriate final film for Heath Ledger? Why?

I dont think any film would be approraite for a final film, no matter what movie he did after The Dark Knight he would always be remembered for that. But what a movie to be remembered for and an Oscar to applaud his talent. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Will have to put this one on my list. Is this the one that has the lady driving the VW covered in bees into a stadium where they freeze the bees? Freezing is a good thing to keep in mind during a disaster. It also worked on the Blob and countless Star Trek creatures. Also, water is a good thing to have on hand during an alien invasion.
